Mary Kay MUA

The most recent wedding I was in had a Mary Kay Lady come out and do the Bride's makeup and she gave the BM make up to do thier own... I was thinking about doing this and the one MK lady I spoke to said she charges like 50 an hour and cannot put the make up on you since they are not licensed.

I don't know if that is worth it...any opionions, or suggestions to get all of my parties makeup done at the same time for a reasonable rate (in houston)?

If she is not doing your makeup, where does the $50 an hour come from?? Sheesh. Makeup artists at least provide the service and the makeup. Bad deal... If you do anything with MK, I would buy their startup kip for selling and use that for the bridesmaids! It was only $100 like 5 years ago. I have no idea what it is now, but it came with all colors of foundations, lipsticks, eyeliners, mascara, etc. You could buy a wholesale lot of MK makeup on ebay too.
