Master Cleanse-Detox anyone?
I set a goal for myself to lose about 45 pounds in 3 months about a month ago. I know it's aiming high but it needs to get done! :p. I spoke to a trainer and a friend of mine who's a dietician and they set me up on a plan. One month into it and I lost 6 pounds!!! 6 measly pounds after 4 weeks of 5 days/week 1 hour cardio + 1300 calories a day!!! How was that possible!!??
So again, I went back to the expert team and complained, whined, cried a little and threatened to quit! ( well, that last one was just to myself). My friend said that it was possible that my body was storing too many toxins and junk that were not allowing healthy functioning of my "fat-burning" system (or something to that extent, it was complicated and got me picturing my body as some kind of defective machine that needed a good cleanup, which is exactly what it needed aparently!). So...enter the Master Cleanse!
I want to lose weight and get that feeling of being "squeeky-clean" on the inside. I read Beyonce did the Master Cleanse but ate a cheeseburger the day after she finished the diet...guess she didn't get the detox memo. Nonetheless, she lost 22 pounds in 2 weeks. Yes yes, I know most of you would say it's water weight but how is that possible concidering you're drinking 12 cups of water/juice a day?! do you evacute more than that in a day on this diet?! :s
Anyways, just wanted to know if any of you have tried it, how that lemonade/maple syrup drink tastes like and what were your results. How did you do it with work and ...the washroom breaks needed for...you know :s
I'm thinking of doing 10days. Starting asap.
