Mini-vent

UGH! I just have to get this off my chest and this seemed like the best place to do it.

I have totally hit mid-deployment funk. I am tired of wearing my hair in a braided bun everyday for the past 7 months. I am tired of wearing the same outfit, same pair of combat boots, everyday, all day! I am tired of being SSG Mota... I want to be April again!

I just want to be at home snuggled up with my puppy dog. Maybe its because we are at the half way point, maybe its because its the holidays, but the past few days I just don't want to play army anymore!

<sigh> ok vent over, thanks for listening.

Sorry to hear that!  I feel your pain and I've only been SSgt Talavera everday for 3 months and I cant imagine 7!  Just remind yourself everyday who you are doing this for.  Remember some people dont even have the courage to put that uniform on and stand up for everyone's  freedom!  I honor you and appreciate what you do for me and this country.  Keep your head up!

p.s. I think my hair is falling out for having my hair in a braided bun for so long. lol

Ugh. I hate when FI hits that mid-deployment slump. I just always remind him- he is now one day closer to being home. Just take it one day at a time.

Hang in there!
