Mixing 2 different curtain panels?

I bought these in white, and they are a little smaller width-wise than expected, so I feel like I need to either double up on them or add 2 more contrasting panels.  Right now the white dresser is next to the window and something about the white curtains and white dresser feels too sterile to me.  Granted my opinion might change once the under the window bench and reupholstered glider are finished and in place with the more colorful cushions and throw pillows...

Should I stick with all white, or get 2 pink panels to add on to the ends for variation?

This is an example of what 2 different curtain panels can look like together...

Do you like the look of pink on the outside, white on the inside?

I like the doubling up on curtains. I think the white would look best on the inside. You could also add white sheers for extra fullness. We have the double curtain rod at my house, so the extra sheers would go on the back rod and you could pull those over the window for some privacy and have the others curtains on the front rod for the "look".

I agree with eb. I think it would be cute, but I'd def do the pink on the outside. I actually like the look of doubling up.

I think they will look great doubled up! We actually did that in our tiny den, and we always get lots of compliments on it :-)

I agree with Andrea -- I'd do the pink on the outside, since it looks better when the darker color "frames" the window. Can't wait to see how it looks!
