My first dress looking experience
So I went dress looking today (I won't call it shopping because I knew I wasn't buying yet). I went to two shops David's Bridal and another little privately owned shop. The first shop I went to was a blast. I was a little hesistant first because I was going alone but the girl put me at total ease and told me that a lot of brides come in alone. The whole time I was there we laughed and giggled like little girls I seriously thought I had a friend with me. I was a little disappointed because I was a size bigger than I thought I would be but the girl told me not to worry dresses run small (I still need to lose weight) I tried on dress after dress after dress and fell in love with 3. Unfortunately, I couldn't sneak any pics of the dresses due to the fact that she was in the room the whole time I had each dress on then helped me take it off. The next stop was David's Bridal, I didn't really want to get a dress there but I figured I would look. Well, needless to say even if I had found my dream dress there is no way I would buy a dress from that store. The receptionist was rude, she talked about personal matters in front of me. They only had one consultant on apparently even though I saw AT LEAST 10 girls standing around doing nothing. I had to go through and find my own dresses to try on but I couldn't pull them out which was no big deal except that there were so many dresses they were overwhelming and hard to shift through. I finally got into a dressing room and had to struggle into all of the dresses alone then everytime I walked out there was no one to be found. All in all it was an interesting experience and I found some dresses I love one that I never thought I would want. So without further ado here are some pics of two of the dresses, I can't find the third(my favorite) online which the girls warned me I might not but I'll keep looking.
