My girls are too big for my dress....

I am about 2 months away from my big day.  When I first purchased my dress it fit perfect.  I tried it on again a few months ago and it was a little tight in the bust area.  I know I gained some weight over the winter months, but it was still wearable.  I just tried my dress on last week and it won't zip up over the bust area.  I haven't gained any weight since the last time I tried it on.  I'm about to go off the deep in because I don't know what to do to make my bust smaller.  I just started a strict diet and am excercising so hopefully that works!  ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS???  I NEED HELP, PLEASE!!!

I have looked at a couple, but I can't find anything strapless.  Which I forgot to mention earlier, my dress is strapless!  Thank you for that website though, I will look around on it and see if I can find anything to help!

I apologize if this is TMI, but when you tried on your gown, was it just before your period? For me, I gain almost a full cup-size the week before my period and then, once it starts, they go back to normal. This freaked me out when I had my first dress fitting... if you see my gown's neckline in my pics, you'll understand why. ;-)

I figured out where I'd be in my cycle during the wedding and it worked out alright. It's something worth figuring out... especially if you know you haven't gained any weight.

I'd throw in some cardio to help too. I would also minimize your salt intake to help avoid water weight gain... as a lot of it goes straight to the girls.

Good luck!

Thank you for your advice!  I am actually taking my birth control pills back to back to avoid a period b/c it would fall on my wedding.  So I don't know if that may be a problem or not.  After a couple of weeks of excercise I will try it on again, if it still doesn't fit right I guess I will take my pills normal and see if that helps.  Thank you again for your advice!

I am actually going to try and find some Spanx tomorrow.  If that doesn't work I guess there is always duct tape :) Ha!

Dude! Taking the pill back to back can totally make the girls bigger! With the added hormones, that could be it. How about "scheduling" your period for a week or two before the wedding? That way your hormones can get back to normal?

Something to consider. Good luck!

also - if spanx and the pill trick dont do it - can you have the seamstress make a corset back???  i dont know anything about sewing or dresses or anything - but maybe that's a possibility???

i'd try kristeen's idea of the minimizer first and then the spanx...

I found some Spanx and it worked!  Still need to lose a few pounds because the dress is a little tight, so diet and excercise are still on the agenda!  Thank you all for your help!

Spanx is magic! If you use duct tape just remember to protect the nips! LOL :) I have the opposite problem - I just lost 20lbs and my "girls" now are smaller AND LOWER!! They have to take in my dress around the top **tears** I LOVED my ladies just how they were!

What about just adding a corset back, or at least in combo with these undergarment solutions???

i totally feel the plight of a girl with...well, large girls.  Mine aren't huge but I have a very small frame so they LOOK huge.  But I find that when i lose weight that's the first place it comes off of.  I think it's because there is the largest concentration of fat and water of your whole body.  So hopefully if you keep up the diet and exercise they should get back to normal.  I know this isn't much help but hopefully it offers a bit of "support".  OMG i'm such a dork.  feel free to make fun of me for my shameless puns. :-)

I totally know how that goes. When I was 17 I had no ass or boobs and now I am 20 and I weigh about the same but since my ass and my boobs finally decided to grow, I have to wear different sizes. Definitely get spanx, they work great! I also do a lot of dancing that helped a lot with weight and maintaining it.

I have come to the realization that I am willing to sacrifice some boobs to be healthier....although it SUCKS!! For the first time in my life I'm actually sticking to exercising and eating better, not perfect, just better! My goal weight is still 20lbs away but I'm half-way there!
