My vintage wedding space

I created this group photo 1093758-1I created this group because I didn't find alot about vintage wedding so I was pretty much on my own and I thought this could be a great place for everyone to share. You could just be using vintage touches or a "themed" wedding share share share.

I'll go first from the first will you marry me it's been vintage starting with my ring. It was my FI's grandmothers its a beautiful marquis cut diamond on a gold band and it's "band" actually lides over the top with more diamonds and it becomes almost a flower.

I posted a picture of the Berkeley Hotel already because that is the Art Deco gorgeous hotel we are getting married in its absolutely stunning. I am going to hang garland and handmade flowers from the huge chandelier we'll be getting married under and the chairs will be set up in the round (the room is round) so we'll say our vows in the center. The wall of both the ceremony room are covered in  white molding and its very sculptural and very art deco! The cocktail room(the Versaille) is a covered in authentic origional Burberry wall paper and also has several chandeliers and an amazing ocean view!I created this group photo 1093758-2

Love love love it. I love the cake the best I did a double take and realized under hat there were gloves so cute. I would love to see more. Did you a birdcage with your poof?

nope no birdcage.  just teadyed some tulle and netting and formed a poof of a headpiece with a vintage charm that was my grandmothers.

I was going to wear a delightful vintage hat, but decided I really wanted a veil-ish thing and couldn't find any hats with veils that I liked or were in good enough condition.

so to make up for it, I absolutely had to have a tea party hat on my wedding cake.

oh yes.. and tea party gloves and a string of fondant pearls are underneath the hat.

It was my FAVORITE detail of the whole wedding with the vintage teacups holding cupcakes around it.  I screamed when I saw the cake because I wasn't even there to tell the baker what I wanted and it was awesome.  She added details of the flowers I used in my wedding.

Inspiration:  from a tea party site I think.  I couldn't find wedding cakes I liked so I went to my true love: tea parties!
