Need a new recliner...

We are starting an addition on our living room, so we are waiting until that is finished next year before we get new furniture (leather sectional set..can't wait!!) But in the meantime, we desperately need a new recliner. I don't want to spend too much since we are getting all new once the living room is finished.

I'm thinking Craigslist...would you buy furniture off there? I will be using a slipcover. Also, how much would you pay...I'm either finding really cheap, really ratty ones, or really expensive ones. I feel like if I"m going to drop $300-$400 on a recliner I should just buy a new one!

I wouldn't have a problem with buying from Craigslist if I found someone I really liked, but if it was only going to be another couple of hundred dollars for a new one I would probably do that and get it so it coordinates with the leather sectional in the future

DH is worried that if we buy a new recliner now that we may not find a sectional to match in a year or so...I don't think it would be as big a deal, but he wants one to just make do with for now. So...I'm still hunting through Craigslist, not really finding anything in our area which sucks. Someone at work said Menards had pretty decent furniture?? I may have to check that out.
