Need Advice

I was trying to figure out how to incorporate sea shells into the wedding even though our wedding isnt a beach wedding. Do you think this is odd and would look out of place if we are having a barn wedding? My FI loves the beach and we are honeymooning in Hawaii and Jamaica. I thought I could use sea shells on the tables and sand in some of the jars with the candles. I need honest opinions. Should I forget this since its a barn wedding

Just saw this and thought it was cute! Could put on the edge of the barn benches or reception chairs for you and FI or bridal party or all guests!! Excuse my exclamation points I get excited trying to find things for people sometimes lol :)

Thanks so much ladies. The jars with sand and sea shells was exactly what I was thinking. I just wanted to make sure it wouldnt look awkward having a barn wedding

i dont think it would look odd.  barn weddings are rustic weddings typically.  beach weddings are also typically a more rustic style.  both lend themselves to the use of wood, berlap, lace, and twine.  so adding some sand and seashells to the mix wont look odd.  plus it adds a specail twist to the weddings that is very personal.
