NEED ADVICE RE: PHOTOGRAPHER!

I was married last year and did not realize that the DVD of images that was included in my photography package was lo res images only.  My contract includes prices for enlargements, but not for high res images (which I'd like to do some small photobooks for my wedding party).

Does anyone have experience with getting high res files from your photographer AFTER the fact - if they were not included in the contract? How much should I expect to pay? I paid him $5,000 for the photography and a 35 page wedding album. I really don't want to pay too much more, if possible!

Damn that sucks. For $5000,  I think you should have gotten the high res...unfortunately I have no advice for you as to how much that might be after the fact. Sorry.

Unfortunately, all you can do is ask. Hopefully they will be willing to add on a disc of images without too much added cost, but they may not. Some don't ever offer them, and some only offer them at a high cost. Fingers crossed for a good deal for you!
