Need help with Lemon Themed Wedding

So my wedding is photo 1150662-1So my wedding is photo 1150662-2So my wedding is in April 2010.  And I am getting worried about my lemon themed wedding.  I already got the bridesmaids dress from Jcrew.  The color is a light chartreuse color.  In between lime and yellow.  This is the dress below, but in peron you can see the green tint it has but it is still closer to yellow.  Thats not a problem.  Our guys are wearing grey suits.  The problem is I cant find the right color chartreuse ties to go with their dresses.  I was thinking they would wear grey ties if everything else fails.

Ok the next problem is I am gonna have lemon centerpiece.  I dont want to bombard the room with lemon centerpieces on all the tables, maybe half.  Below is what I am trying to do.  I saw another PW bride do her centerpieces like this as well.  The question I am having is do I need to add another color to break up the yellow and grey.  Also what color linens should I do.  I was thinking grey but I dont want everything to color coordinated.....So confused, and I thought I had it together!!!

The above picture is the mock of the centerrpiece.  I took it to Classic Party Rental to see how it would look on the linens.  I should have tried just a regular linen because I dont think I like the overlay anymore.  What do you think.  what other colors?

I actually like the grey tie for the groomsmen....I think it looks really good!

For the table, why not skip the overlay all together and just go with grey linens?

Yeah thats what i was thinking on the Overlay.  I think it would look better with a fuller linen.

i like the grey ties. Why dont you choose an accent color like green or black to go w/everything. then you can break up the color schemes a little.

I really love your colors! My colors are more of the winter version of yours. Deep purple and gray. I think the ties should be yellow. But everything else is really nice!

i wore your dresses in my best friend's wedding this past fall! they looked so pretty in the photos!

i love the grey ties with suits (our colors are grey and yellow so i'm absolutely a BIG fan of this combo) you could do the guys bouts in yellow to bring in the bright color.

i agree - the full length linens would look perfect. With the white plates and glasses on the table it will look very polished and perfect - i don't think you'll need another color.

good luck!

i like the grey photo 1150700-1 i like the grey on grey tie, but i think that yellow would look nice too. Plus i think u should add another color like lime green or maybe a light orange.

i like the grey photo 1150700-2 u c this tie, i love how it looks with the grey/white! and i think adding some bits of ornage is a really nice twist.

for the table linens you can do a soft ivory color with the yellow flowers

or u can do a color linen like this i like the grey photo 1150700-3

i hope this helped

Depending on how much money you want to spend, you could take the BM dess to a department store and find something very close to the color. In a perfect world, you could get some sort of pattern of yellow and gray and I think that would look amazing. No need to use the tie with the tux necessarily. If not, go with the gray IMO.

we looked really hard photo 1151176-1 we looked really hard photo 1151176-2 we looked really hard photo 1151176-3 we looked really hard photo 1151176-4

we looked really hard for our yellow ties because i was picky about the shade. but maybe try jcpenny, sears, nordstrom rack, marshalls, ross, tjmaxx (not as pricey) - don't know why that shade is so hard; but eventually found ours at sears - was yellow...o/w gray is just as pretty with your colors. maybe just have a yellow/chartuesse colored boutinnere or handkerchief...

I agree with adding some accent color. Just having the grey and yellow might be too much.

Well Ladies, I found the color Im adding.  Navy Blue.  It will basically be navy blue linens, and chair ties and the guys will probably wear a navy and yellow tie.  So thanks for all the advice.

Love the navy blue choice. The gray and navy will make the yellow pop, and make it look cheerfuller (please excuse my word creativity lol)
