Need opinions about using jars for candle centerpieces?

I need opinions ladies. I was emptying a pickle jar the other day and suddenly it hit me why buy candle holders if I can use jars like this for candles too. What do you think? Since I am going to have lots of candles down the center of the tables would it look bad if some of my candle holders were jars like that?

Didn't know since I really have no theme. I thought since I am now incorporating parasols maybe it would give it that spring/summery feel. I mentioned it to my FI that I was going to save the jars like that and he loved the idea.

I used jars as part of my centerpieses too! And wine botles. They are so versatile that you can make them mach any theme and any color sceme! I did mine with glitter and a riddon, but you can paint yours in your wedding colors.

And let me tell you..It was such a money saver! I hightly recommend them! check my bio if you want.

You can always paint them or add ribbon or glue some twine or rope around them to fancy them up :)

These all have flowers but would work for candles too.

I would most definitely save them!  You can also incorporate your wedding colors by wrapping either olive green or another of your wedding colors around them, and that would be an easy DIY, inexpensive and most importantly GORGEOUS!!!

Thanks ladies. I'm saving them and have asked a couple family members to do the same. I have 21 months to save close to 200.
