Need to lose weight!!!

Hello All PWers!!!


So for the last 8 months I have had my wedding dress hung in my closet, just hanging there...


I ordered it a size smaller thinking I would be losing some extra baby weight I have, but now being March and my wedding is in November and me not being able to FIT INTO MY ONLY WEDDING DRESS!!! welll Im am going all into losing some weight thing...


I am at 160 right now, I have told my self if I dont get down to 130 my June I need to buy a new wedding dress, that I did  not expecet to buy, nor that is in my 17k budget right now...


Any advise, or good webs for a fat bride to lose some of this off?

I have issues with hypothyroidism.  What has worked for me in the past when I need to lose weight quickly is cut out all sugar, dairy and gluten.  I lost about 4 lbs in a week and ate alot of meat and veggies.  also, do a daily workout like bodyrock.tv


It will help!!!

Eat healthy and exercise!! There are no loopholes! You will do great! Try to stay motivated and on-track. Make little weekly goals for yourself and reward yourself once a month when you reach a majority of them!!

Thanks everyone, all of it was good advice...


What I have done is I have cut out soda and eat less( my portions) and I have started the Jillian Michels 30 Day Shred videos at home, Ima do the videos straight till August ( my dress fitting for alterations). But I am considering cut out actual meals and just eating veggies and water.


I will post up dates, be on the watch. :)

Please don't just eat veggies and water...that is not enough. I know it's tempting to drop the weight fast like that, but you're body needs minimum 1200calories/day to get all those nutrients. Veggies and water won't cut it! Good luck, it's not easy, but work hard!

Drink a lot of water. I gave up soda almost a year ago and i have notices the difference. Workout and eat healthy. Diets are only temporarily you lose some but then you gained it back. You need to think of it as a life change and you will succeed.

I don't know if you'll be able to safely lose 30 lbs in less than a month in a way that you'll keep the weight off.  However if your wedding is not until November I definitely think you can lose 30 lbs by then.  What works for me is switching out carbohydrates for ones that are high in fiber and whole grains.  I also limited carbs to morning and lunch and only eat protein and veggie for dinner.  I drink more water and avoid snacks like cookies, cakes, chocolate (except at that time of the month! :) )  I don't drink a lot of sugary coffee or latte's and I rarely drink pop.  This way I lost 20 lbs and I'm exercising more to help lose the last 5 lbs.
