Need to stop biting my nails for my wedding day!

HELP!!! Ladies...please give me tips or advice on how I can stop biting my nails before my wedding day! I have less than 2 months until the big day (58 days to be exact) and I need my nails to look beautiful! Well, actually...I just need my nails to go long enough to where I can go get solar nails put on and the nail salon ladies won't judge me (because you know they will)! I've been a chronic nail biter my entire life and since I've gotten engaged, I think it's gotten worse because I'm planning the entire wedding by myself, literally! For our engagement pictures, I put press-on nails for the session, lol. But I can't do that for our wedding day because they'll pop off and I could barely do anything with my hands with those dang nails on, haha! Please ladies...help me!!! I need to stop biting my nails! :(

I believe theres a pen or even a bitter nail polish that will deter you from doing so.

It's bitter and your taste buds won't like it at all.

I had a coworker who bit his nails, I'll find out what he used. I'm pretty sure it was some type of solution that he put on his nails to deter him.

If you are stressed out, get a massage or even try yoga or even acupuncture. It may help.

Good luck

That nail polish to make you quit doesn't work. My family tries that when I was little. Try one of the following: (1) go buy some bubble wrap with small bubbles and pop that every time you feel the urge to bite, (2) keep apples or grapes on you and eat every time you feel the urge to bite, or (3) try wearing a rubber band on your wrist and popping it every time you feel the urge to bite. I'm doing the grapes and the bubbles. I don't get married till November of 2014, so I'm trying everything.

I too have always been a nail biter. I have gone through phases where I stopped biting them but they still won't grow because they are so brittle from my past of nail biting. I do wear acrylic nails frequently and then my nails will grow under them. I have then taken them off and just kept looking at my nails knowing how I loved them naturally long and that would tend to keep me from biting them. You can have acrylics put on any length so put them on and they can cut them short for you.

I used to bite my nails too! I'm nt sure how I stopped, but having the glue on (kiss brand-super short) is a great way for me to not bite my nails. Or they have nail stickers that would be horrible to bite through? You can do it!

Thanks ladies for all of your input!!! I have bought a new nail filer, a cuticle cutter, nail polish remover, a few nail polishes and nail hardener. I looked for that stuff you put on your nails that makes them taste bad but Ulta didn't have it (they were out of stock). So they lady suggested I put nail polish remover on my nails, lol. It's not a bad idea. But I'm going to paint my nails first and see if that's stops me from biting my nails b/c I know that has worked for me in the past (kinda).
