Hello Ladies. I am finally feeling better. Share your New Years Eve plans. I havent been out for over fi e years and last gear my FI and I were almost two hours apart so we talked on the phone until after midnight. This year we are going to a casino. We are going to gamble a little but hoping to win money during all the gi eaways all night, have dinner and ring in the New Year

our family has standing tradition for NYE and NYD.  we spend it with our oldest family friends and eat and play card/board games until really late and then the next day we get together with them again and eat our traditional NYD lunch of pork roast, sourkraut, mashed potatoes, cream corn, lemon jello salad, and rolls.  my mom is from ohio and they ate pork roast and sourkraut every year for NYD.  in south carolina the meal we eat is totally not traditional. in the south most people eat blackeyed peas, collard greens, and corn bread with whatever.  i just know those 3 things are very traditional for the south.  (the family friends we are spending the holiday with are the ones that were special guests at my wedding and had reserved seats and a bouquet and buttoneer)

Since this is our first New Year's in Atlanta since the move, we are spening in the ATL.  I'm so excited, we plan to spend a few days at the Embassy Suites and on New Year's we will dress up and go to a restaurant called 10 degrees south which is is a fusion of south african, french, portugal, dutch, german, malysian and mediterranean influcences!  Best way for us to spend the new year together!

I actually don't have any plans yet... but we will probably end up around a fire with good friends and family! :)
