Not moving anywhere with trying to loose those kg's

I have been trying for months now to try to loose the few extra kg's before the big day, so that all i need to do i maintain, as opposed to continually try to loose.


I weigh my meat, don't eat junk food, have reduced my alcohol consumption to almost nothing, exercise 5 times a week and still, when i get on the scales nothing changes. Everyone keeps saying i will notice it in my clothes, but im not.


I don't know what to do from here and was wondering if anyone had some advise / suggestions on what they did to loose those unwanted kgs?

That is the SAME EXACT thing that happened to me. The only thing that worked was I switched to eating a larger meal at lunch and then severely limited my intake at dinner. I lost 5 pounds really fast! I was so happy to just see the scale move down that I almost cried! I know how frustrating it is to be trying so hard and not seeing any difference.

It sounds to me like you're stuck in a rut.  Are you eating the exact same things over and over again or doing the same exercises at the gym? If so try switching it up a little bit, (run instead of use the elyptical etc and try different foods) it should give your body the jolt it needs to start the scale in a downward motion again.  Make sure you're drinking between 60-75 ox of water a day too, it's amazing what a difference that makes!

I'm in a rut too! I have 3 lbs to go and I'm not going ANYWHERE. I know that you can cut lbs easily by drinking lots of water and having NO salt in your diet. I can't do that everyday (I swear I only like salty foods) but you bet I'll be doing that the week of the wedding!
