I am not going shopping, but my mom and aunt can't stop talking about it. Lol!
i try to stear clear of stores and shopping areas on black friday.
No way, Jose! Not this girl. I'm actually mostly done with my Christmas shopping and I haven't even stepped foot through a door! I'll be cuddled up nice and warm with DH sleeping in for once!
I'm not going shopping, did that a few years ago and I just can't do the long lines and crowds. Besides I don't think we need anything that warrants the waiting in line fiasco.
ME, ME, ME!!!!!! I went last year and it was so much fun!!! My BFF and I headed to the old part of town so it was DEAD! The only line we had to stand in was at JCPenny and that was in the afternoon. I am so excited to get back out there!
We head out early int he morning and hit stores like Kohls, Best Buy, Target, etc. We don't have a plan either. We're not looking for that "one special item"... We just go and look!
We will NOT be going out on Thursday though. Ugghhhh... I hate that stores are doing this.
Ugh I hate it too @misshammy. In Massachusetts they don't allow it. There was this whole thing a few years back about national advertisiments with Thursday hours, but it's illegal in MA for retail stores to open on Thanksgiving. I think it's called Blue Laws, the rules prohibit retail employees from working until 12a.m. after Thanksgiving. I'm happy for that!
That is awesome, @NicoleJuliette!!!!! I wish more states did this!
IM Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo jealous!!!! Our base prices are already so mcuh more expensive than for the same stuff in the US.
Shop a little extra in honour of the Canadians lol
if i didnt have to work I would be state side FOR sure!!!
Lots of the online US stores have sales too Lorna (I discovered this joy last year!!) so you can shop in your PJs instead!!
Cyber Monday is evern better for online deals! ;)
I do love Cyber Monday - but It's nice to walk around and feel the items that I'm picking :) Then I can get started on the wrapping!
I prefer Black Friday over Cyber Monday. :)
However, my Canadian girls, definitely hunt those deals down online!
not sure... the past few years ive had thanksgiving dinner with my in laws, spend the night with my now fiance (i dont sleep over usually... only on vacations and stuff) and then we get up early-ish and drive around. however most of the times i see the line or am too cold that we just end up going back home and to bed again. LOL we were weird like that. There isnt anything im LOOKING for either so thats probably why.
I have never shopped on Black Friday but I have ordered a few things online on Cyber Mondays over the years. This year I will be checking out a few places online for a new tv for my daughter but it's not a xmas present.
Not this girl either. I'm dreading an eye appointment that I have on Black Friday, it means I actually have to leave the house and be out and about among all the crazies lol. And they DO get crazy around here...my aunt had a huge bruise on her shin last year from where some old lady rammed her with a cart!
I have most of my shopping finished, but I am looking for a few things that I'll try to find online cheaper once the sales kick in :)
Oh no, definitely not!!
