NWR: Napa Valley vacation

Hello lovely ladies...

I am in the process of planning our 1 year anniversary trip for November!! So excited :] and can't believe it has almost been a year...the time just flies!  I have been researching all types of places and hotels and I think we have decided on the Napa Valley area, we are wanting a nice relaxing & romantic mini vacation, like 4 or 5 nights.  (We will also be going with another couple who will be celebrating their 1 year anniversary as well.)  Do you have any recommendations/suggestions for hotels/bed & breakfasts/inns to stay at??  Or any activities we should do??  I would love to hear any info you have on the area.

Thanks!!

I love Yountville...We were just there last month.

My favorites are Yountville and St. Helena- Yountville has a ton of awesome restaurants, and St. Helena has a bunch of foodie shopping. {The best chocolate, a few good olive oil and vinegar shops}

{I don’t drink wine, so that’s all I can help with…. I believe its Beringer that has live music on the weekends. The Mondavi wineries are always popular, as is the wine train no driving!}

HTH!

We don't- when I go home, we pop in for the weekend... and when we get married there, we'll stay with family.

I've heard good things about a few different places....

I just got back...we actually spent more time in Sonoma since we have been to Napa a number of times befoe. In napa I LOVE Schramsberg (sparkling wine tours in caves), Silverado, Chandon, Cakebread wineries. In Sonoma we LOVED Domaine Carneros (sparkling wine)Ledon and Gunluck Bonshu...both have amazing wines. We ate a cute resturaunt in downtown Napa called  Allegra (italian). We also love Mustrards and BRIX resturants. ENjoy it is beautiful there right now!I just got back photo 2127559-1
