NWR, sorta, Kinda frustrated

Awe...don't take it to heart. More than likely they forgot about her birthday and so they tried last minute to pull something together. I know what you're saying about boys and expecting you to just run off with them when they come to you with THEIR plans. I think its just a genetic defect or something. I think if he knows how important this audtion is to you he will respect your decison to stick with your original plans.

I say do what you need to do for YOU. Go practice. He just wants your hot bod all to himself (who can blame him?) As an athlete (former I guess, sad.) I think that practicing comes before most other things, especially if you have a goal or a game/meet/match/performance/tryout tomorrow. Go practice. Best of luck!

I hate walking on egg shells and always "wondering" so I completely know where your coming from- I have similiar situations right now. BUT- my FI gives me sh*t and says I overanalyze and its all in my head haha whatever.... Its a bummer- and sometimes peoples actions hurt, even though you try to shrug it off.....

Sam, you definitely have to practice and start putting yourself first....otherwise you'll begin to resent him and his family later.

If his SIL is not inviting you to parties she throws and doesn't want to contribute in any way to your shower or anything, I'm not sure how much of a friend she really is.

Aren't you guys currently working things out since you had that recent breakup??  You decided not to postpone the wedding?
