WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A CHILD?
CABBAGE PATCH KIDS
OR SOMETHING ELSE?
DO YOU STILL SECRETLY LOVE THIS TOY?
i always loved BARBIES. I loved that when i was growing up skipper was a young teen. i honestly do not remember barbie having any siblings other than skipper and kelly.
these are barbies from when i was growing up. skipper was a young teen. i loved that they started to really develope a wide variety of friends for barbie that had various ethnicities. i honestly loved that growing up.
here are kelly and todd. kelly was barbie's youngest sibling and todd was ken's youngest sibling.
this is chelsea that i never knew anything about. she is the middle sister between skipper and kelly.
i remember wanting to have a pregnant barbie, and there not being one. i also remember wanting to have male friends for skipper. both of these were created after i stopped playing with barbies. i had a feeling that the pregnant Midge may not last forever, so i bought her in the hopes that i would have a girl one day who would appreciate it.
if i had the money and room to spare, Barbies would be an indulgent hobby. i would totally buy a ton and create a small town with storefronts and a couple homes. not the barbie pink homes, but ones that look more realistic. if you want to see how crazy i am, check out my BARBIE pinterst board.
I think my favorite toy was the handmade doll house that my grandfather gave me.
Definitely Canbage Patch Kids!
I got my first one for my 5th birthday (when they were first released...showing my age now!!) and all my friends were super jealous because no one else had one yet!!
His name was Virgil and he was bald with a tan corduroy suit! And I still have him and his 4 siblings in my basement!!
I had him valued a few years ago and he was worth $£600 (about $1000!) because I still have all the original adoption paperwork etc (yes, I was a very organised child!!)
Lol, nicki, you can be rich!!
My favorite toy by far was the gameboy. I would NOT put it down. ever.
