What flowers are you all using for your centerpieces, bouquets, etc? I LOVE peonies but impossible to get it around oct.
Oct. 25th here.
I'm using my Manzanita Tree Branches. I'm getting them from our family property so they are free to me!! Woo hoo!
Some I will decorate with Orchids. Others I will include bundles of flowers and some other green mossy things I've seen at the flower marts. But way cheaper because I'll be making my own arrangements.
I am having a mix of green hydrangeas, green roses with plum and cream accent fillers. My date in 10/11...I wish it would hurry up and get here already! :)
We're having green hydrangea with a mix of cream, green and orange roses. Linens will be chocolate brown. And tons of candles everywhere!
green and blue hydrangeas, roses, and dhalias
I LOVE peonies too but just picked the wrong time of year for them! :( Here are the flowers we're using...
For centerpieces and ceremony arch:
maybe you could consider using a few peonies in a high quality real touch silk flower! and surround them with diffrent real flowers and real greenery!no one but you and the florist would know! (just a suggestion) you could talk 2 your florist about it.... i know soooo many of you are against high quality real touch silk flowers but i have seen them and i have worked with them! they are not soooo bad =D
I really wanted peonies but coudn't get them! Here is a picture of my centerpiece...
Oh - and I'm October 11th! :) :)

That totally sucks!!! I am an October 2009 bride and was set on peonies too after sorting through tons of photos of flowers. I can't believe I never thought of flowers being in and out of seasons this whole time. =(
I am October 11th, these are my flowers:
Tables: (two types)
they really can look real! especcially if you surround them with diffrent types of diffrent flowers good luck any way!
