Opinions Please: RSVP Card

FI and I have decided to do postcards to make it more simple. Not to mention, it saves on postage. With the numerous stories I keep hearing about RSVP nightmares, I'm hoping to prevent some headache. MissMandy (here on PW) mentioned they stated the number reserved for each party invited on their individual response card. I've taken her idea and incorporated it into our design.

Please take a look at what we have drawn up so far. I welcome any ideas, suggestions, or concerns you may see. I plan to have them printed through www.vistaprint.com and want to take advantage of a huge sale they have currently.

TIA!!!

i did postcards for my wedding... i only know of 1 instance for sure where a card got lost in the mail, but then again, mail always gets lost, doesn't it? just be prepared to make some extra phone calls, cause post cards get lost in the mail easier than an envelope.

It looks wonderful, can I ask you a totally off-topic question? How did you post the pic? I've been working on my wedding map and would love some feedback but I am totally clueless as to how to post it here. Right now it's in MS Word. Thanks! Jess

The girls are very helpful with this- I just learned too!
I upload the picture to www.tinypic.com and then highlight, copy, the HTML code link and paste it into the message board on PW.

Does this make sense? Let us know... They may be able to explain it better!

nic-- how do you go about doing this? do you design your own rsvp template (and on what software do you do this?)and then upload it to vista print or something. then does vista print add the postage for you or do you go to the post office and get them stamped before you put them in the invite?

thanks for the info guys

MissQ: When we made our STD, me made it on Photoshop and then uploaded it on VistaPrint- using their blank template. You can then just stamp them yourself. HTH!

ohh and if you want to do a DIY postcard, places like Joann's Fabrics, Michaels, makes postcards for DIY projects- if you want to run them through your own printer. We have done this as well...
