Hello Ladies,

Does anyone have any ideas for Garden Style Ceremony and Reception in Orlando Area.  Hopefully its not too expensive and overpriced.

If you have any good locations, please do tell.

Thanks

harry p leu gardens. They're in the vicinity of downtown orlando area. its a botanical garden very beautiful and there's an area for the reception as well. i recently attended a wedding there last month. one thing i will advise you to be cautious on is to not be late and choose the timing carefully. if you know the heat in orlando!!! we waited outside in 98 degree weather with not tent and/or fans or cooling devices. the bride was an hour and a half late. we along with the bride sweat profusely. make sure you factor those things in if you choose them.

good luck.

Also try lake eola. its beautiful out there. however i don't know what their stipulations are. and lastly try the summerlin house. they were actually (and still might be) a venue i was going to try. their website is www.thesummerlinhouse.com they're offering a fabulous special and including some things in their package. the owner is joyce and she's a wonderful lady. they encourage you to do a tour which is only scheduled during certain times.

Mead Garden in Winter Park is nice, too.  They have an outdoor amphitheatre and a large reception hall, and for not too bad a price, either.  We originally scheduled our ceremony for there.

If your reception is 100-120 people, I'd highly suggest the Winter Park Farmer's Market, where we're getting married.  It's definitely got that sought after rustic vibe, without being inauthentic.  The price is good (right around $1000 for an all night rental, 4pm to midnight on Friday or Saturday, and $250 an hour any other day).  Indoor chair rental is included.  Right in the heart of Winter Park - I love it!!

If you're further looking at the Winter Park area, they have some lovely places.  If your wedding is small enough, you can get married in the central park Rose Garden!!

The last suggestion I have is the Courtyard at Lake Lucerne...I went to a wedding there a few years ago and it was beautiful.  <3

Good luck!  Let us know how it goes!!

There is also the English Gardens in Winter Park and their prices are pretty reasonable.

You could try Casa Feliz in winter park too.  Everything else I would suggest has already been mentioned :)
