Painting glass jars

What paint do I need to paint glass jars that will be used for candles? I know it needs to withstand heat

Are you painting the outside of the jars? I think you can use any enamel paint. Martha Stewart has a paint called "Liquid Fill" that results in a colored glass effect. You can also bake glass (search directions on that) to set the paint you use. Here's a link I found with some basic info.
