PARTY VAN- limo alternative

Hello PW family! So I was looking on a website for some advice on when to book a limo service for the day of our wedding and how to save money and saw that booking a party van is more cost effective. Any thoughts? Has anyone booked a party van? How far ahead did u book it? Pics welcome!!

Hope to hear from you all soon! :-)

This is something I wish I would have done but I left it last minute and ran out budget and time....I am not sure how much a party bus would cost but for sure it woud be worth it and you can get some really fun photos!

I don't know how popular it is in the US, but FI's cousin owns a company that organises stag & hen events in the UK and he has loads of party bus bookings, they're really fun

We are booking a limo for our wedding party the day of the wedding. We are all going to have an early breakfast together and head to the venue together. Then afterwards FI and I (will be my husband then) will take a limo to our hotel honeymoon suite and again the next morning to the airport for our honeymoon. In our area this is costing us $350.

We haven't decided if we will rent a party van/bus or limo for our bachelor/bachelorette party a couple days before. We are doing our parties together more of a family gathering lol. I have seen them inside and they are just like a limo. It's amazing. I guess it depends on your budget and how many people you have.

limos are expensive here in NY smh!! but the party bus seems to be wayyy cheaper! Our budget is $600 for 3 hours (the place me and the bms are staying, the place the gms will get ready, the ceremony, and reception hall are all in the same area!).

They were all similarly priced in our area, it just depended on how big your wedding party was. For us, we really wanted a limo (and needed a way from the ceremony to the reception) so we went with one that fit just the wedding party. We wanted to take SOs but they had to get their cars the 25 minutes over to the reception anyway. If you can afford it and want to carry everyone, go for the bigger bus!

We are renting a party shuttle instead of 2 limos.  Holds 25 people and costs us about $500 opposed to the almost $800 for 2 limos
