Period Question

Hi girls,

I had my period 2 weeks ago and last night myself and FI dtd and half way through the night I went to the bathroom and I'm bleeding.  It's like half way through a normal period- not heavy but not light either.

Any ideas what's happening?

Sometimes I'll spot a little after sex and I only notice it when I wipe but nothing that heavy. I'd call your OB/GYN just to see what they recommend.

I've had the same thing happen to me.  I talked to my doc about it and he's sending me for an ultrasound right away.  Just to be sure.

Sometimes sex can irritate your cervix and make you bleed a little.

Ditto the could be ovulation spotting.

And this might be TMI, but since it might be relevant, I'll go ahead and share it.  Once I had this bizarre thing happen where I had what the gyno called a small area that was just holding blood in my uterus (like two little pools of blood on the ultrasound).  When I had sex, my uterus would contract a little bit and it squeeze the blood out.  That's gross, I know, but it ended up being nothing to worry about and went away on it's own after a couple of weeks.  Apparently it happens sometimes but isn't really all that common?

Hi girls, so sorry I forgot I posted this question!!!  It got heavier after I posted and turned into a normal period.  I'm a bit confused as it's 2 weeks early but I'll mention it to my doc at my next appointment.

Thanks very much for your replies and sorry again for forgetting I asked!!
