Pick my dress!

Ok I am having my gown made but I like two different styles :(. I love the Princess satin mermaid gowns because they are so elegant and SHINY! But I also looove how the lace gowns can flow. My wedding is outdoors if that will help.

Can you suggest ways I can incorporate both of what I like from these two gowns, to get a gown that I will love!

I like that but the thing that I like about the lace is when it is laying over the dress very lightly. I am not to interested in the gowns where the lace is sewn on, I like it loose so it hangs.

Could you use the top part of the first picture with it going into a lace bottom of the other one?

http://www.deborahlindquist.com/us/index_us.html There is one in here that meets your descripton... go to green weddings, than choose the second pic over with the earrings, next to the girl smelling the flower.

Off the top of my head, I think the Essence of Australia line would have stuff you would like:

Style D714 (I can't link directly to the gown on their site) - it's sheer lace over satin (might not be as shiny as you'd like, however)

Also, for another option, consider a satin gown with a beaded lace bolero (so you get the effect of the sheer lace with the shine that you want) - look at style 131, also on the Essence site.

I was thinking of having the top of the gown be princess satin and then where it opens up I think some of the pleats will have lace. So when I walk the pleats will open and you could see the lace?

See, I would do it the opposite, to show the sheerness of the lace.... Do a slim mermaid gown in the satin, with an overlayer of the lace that opens up (that way you can have that sheerness in the train that you like).

That sounds nice also. Goodness this is hard. I like both but I am not leaning toward one more than the other so it stinks.
