just wondering if anyone has any ideas...we got free epics but it's only a 1.5 hour session so I need somewhere that we can get some fun shots.  Let me know:) TIA

What about the area around Philadelphia Museum of Art?

*You can also take pictures in front of the LOVE statue, which is not too far of a walk from/to the Museum.

And if you two are foodies, possibly Sabrina's? It has great brunches which probably would look good photographed. ;)

Then there's also Old City with the Liberty Bell, and cool background images of the historic houses...

I would start thinking about all the traits that you and your FI share. What are the things that interest you/passions/hobbies, etc? From there, finding a great place in Philly won't be too hard.;)

Rittenhouse or along the waterfront path up to the zoo would be really cute too...

I went to Penn and there are a ton of adorable places on the Penn campus too..

  1. The Italian market (pats and genos are not far)

  2. behind the art museum is really pretty with the cliffs (everyone and their mother takes pics on the east entrance steps) *** be careful w/ the art museum from now until 7/4 there are almost always events going on during the weekends

  3. In the middle of south broad street

  4. elfreth's alley

  5. City hall

  6. You can recreate classic movie scene's... think "trading places" (duke & duke is the wachovia on south broad by city, the big clothes pin, and the police station is ccp steps) "in her shoes" and others

  7.  I saw some great trash the dress sessions at Eastern State

  8. The graden at the Rodin Museum.... however right now the entryway columns are getting repaired, therefore are covered

Outside of Philly

  1. Longwood gardens

We just did ours this past weekend and we shot at the Kimmel Center. It is an awesome space with great art work and views, plus its a public space so need to get permission. Given the location of the Kimmel Center we also got great shots along Broad Street, in the Borders on Walnut, and on a cute little residential side street with the classic row homes & brownstones. Originally we chose Old City but had to reschedule due to the rain and I am so glad that we did.

Washington Square Park (around 7th and Locust) is a special place for us - we picnic there a lot and it's where we got engaged, and where we eventually took wedding photos as well! - so we started there, then walked down toward Penn's Landing, stopping along the way. Here's a link to some of the photographer's favorites: http://mikelandisblog.com/?p=1276

I agree with Kristinkay about Penn's campus.. Also, I'm a La Salle girl and I can tell you that there are some beautiful places on our campus here. Only thing, the area around the campus is a little intimidating so only come up this way if you feel safe.
