Poll: Crying

Who thinks that they will cry at their wedding?

I think I will but I think it would be better if I didn't bc everyone knows I'm a blubber-butt and cry at EVERYTHNG!

HAHA I'm with you Kohler. I know I'm gunna cry, cuz I'm already a big crier anyways. I'm just hoping I dont look horrible in the pics & that my makeup stays in tack. I'm gunna have to try that idea about crying 2 days before.

I am just curious...I wonder if any of the recent married couples on here cried as much as they thought they would during their wedding???

haha your all too funny- its hard to expect what it will be like.  For some odd reason I started BALLING in the hotel lobby waiting for the limo- I could see my family outside waiting- and right when it was my turn to get out there for the limo- I lost it- I also got choked up in the limo ride there haha BUT during the ceremony I was FINE and so was he- go figure :)

I cried watching the video last night though haha so unexpected- my emotions were like a roller coaster that day :)

- HMM :)

Yep, I will be a mess on my wedding day!  I still have a little more than a year to go but everytime I think of something wedding related (ex: vows, first dance, father/daughter dance, seeing each other for the first time, etc) or hear a song that we will be using I start to cry.  And I know that when I see my dad, fiance, and ffil crying (which rarely happens!) that will send me over the edge and I will probably start bawling more.  I need to find some great WATERPROOF mascara!  Haha...

I totally thought I was going to do the ugly cry during the ceremony!  The kind with the never ending runny nose, swollen eyes.  I knew if I cried my husband would get emotional too.

So I told him we had to think of something funny...kind of like an inside joke.  And whenever we felt like we (I) was going to cry, to think of this funny thought or joke.  It's kind of like when you're going to do a speech, you imagine everyone out there naked to get over the stage fright.  So we agreed to think of each other naked up at the altar!  aahahh!!!  And that thought would make us smile or laugh.  Well it worked!

Right when I started walking down the aisle, I got really nervous and I could feel the nose running and the watery eyes. He whispered in my ear "I see you!"  and we both laughed and were fine from that point on.

Maybe this will help you ladies.  Think of an inside joke, thought, saying, etc.  And you'll just smile the entire time!
