What has been/was your favorite part of planning? All of my DIYs

What has been/was the worst part of planning? Sticking to our vision of a casual, fun day and not getting sucked into all the beautiful extravagant wedding stuff that is out there

If you had all the money in the world, what would you have done differently? Booked a videographer

What is one piece of advice you have for other brides still lurking or recently engaged? Have the wedding YOU want, not something you 'should' have.

What has been/was your favorite part of planning?

Visiting the venues together for sure.

What has been/was the worst part of planning?

Realizing almost everything we want is way out of our budget.

If you had all the money in the world, what would you have done differently?

I would invite all of the people I wanted to and not what I could afford.

What has been/was your favorite part of planning? Just the whole aspect of being a "bride" is amazing. I enjoyed picking music with DH. I enjoyed dress shopping (wish I would have tried more on!!!!) I enjoyed my bach party, the list goes on!! lol.

What has been/was the worst part of planning? The guest list is so annoying, and I loved how our wedding turned out, but I wonder what it'd be like if I cut half of the guest list. hah.

If you had all the money in the world, what would you have done differently? OMG-I would have paid someone to do everything. I loved planning and DIYs, but in the end if I had $$$$$ I would have paid someone like david tutera to bring my vision to life. LOL.

What is one piece of advice you have for other brides still lurking or recently engaged? Enjoy being engaged! I know it can be stressful, but this really is a once in a lifetime time -so don't put too much stress to have a 'perfect-pinterest' day because in the end, it will be 'perfect' for you and your new DH.

What has been/was your favorite part of planning?

My favorite part is putting it all together and seeing my vision come to life.

What has been/was the worst part of planning?

Making decisions on everything. There are so many ideas and amazing things out there and narrowing it down has been very difficult. Changing my mind about the details has also been difficult

If you had all the money in the world, what would you have done differently?

I would have a planner to do everything. I am having a planner but I would love to just say this is my vision now make it happen.

Don't stress. Do what you want to make your dreams come true. Most of all remember this is about you and your FI.

What has been/was your favorite part of planning?

I loved planning my wedding. I loved shopping, venue searching, shopping lol and most of all getting to know ALL of the amazing people on PW

What has been/was the worst part of planning?

Guest List was HARD and seating plan. Trying to compromise with the budget without compromising my vision

If you had all the money in the world, what would you have done differently?

I loved my wedding…I would probably just upgraded a few things. Definitely would have gotten my dream photographer and videographer that was way out of my budget at the time

What is one piece of advice you have for other brides still lurking or recently engaged?

BREATHE!!!  The wedding is important but not as important as the marriage. This day is to start a journey.  So don’t sweat the small details, it will all work out ands no one will know the little things that might not go to “plan”. Have the wedding YOU want and try not to let others influence your choices or make you second guess yourself. And FINALLYAsk questions and use everyone on PW to the fullest. We are all here for the same reason and those (like me) that have stayed way past the “I do” stage love to help.

What has been/was your favorite part of planning?

Trying on my wedding dress (only have gotten to do that twice so far though) and any packages coming in I order involving the wedding (jewelry, gifts, decor, etc.)

What has been/was the worst part of planning?

Arguing with my mom, aunt or FI

If you had all the money in the world, what would you have done differently?

Had a destination on the beach with only 10-20 guests

What is one piece of advice you have for other brides still lurking or recently engaged?

Do what YOU want, it's your day! You will regret not making every aspect about you and your FI if you don't. That's where all of my stress has come from because some family members have forgotten that.

What has been/was your favorite part of planning?

Pinterst and Etsy shopping for things

What has been/was the worst part of planning?

RSVP's!

If you had all the money in the world, what would you have done differently?

Flowers would have been better and made my bridal party move quicker for pictures

What is one piece of advice you have for other brides still lurking or recently engaged?

Plan the wedding you want not the one others say looks good, take their advice and apply it to you but make sure you are getting what you want.

What has been/was your favorite part of planning?

I think it was several things. chosing the dress was wonderful, going to see the venue was amazing. But most of all I loved the last two weeks when it all came together and I did the cake and decorations with my beloved parents. that was a blessing

What has been/was the worst part of planning?

hmmm, when the dress for a short while did not fit as it was supposed to fit. it got me crazy.

If you had all the money in the world, what would you have done differently?

nothing at all. it was perfect as it was. But i would do a one year crazy party with all guests who came and those who could not, somewhere at a beach resort

What is one piece of advice you have for other brides still lurking or recently engaged?

dont lose the big whole idea behind  your wedding. it is very easy to overload a wedding and to get lost in details. Details are important and make your wedding unique, but dont make them stress you out. and dont get lost. because everything you will see on the sites is lovely, but it is easy to mess up when you dont keep your theme consequently in mind. another important thing is: if you plan many little happenings during the big day like for example:certain songs that have to be played at certain moments, special effects like balloons, doves, butterflies or any other thing of the kind, delegate somebody. You really need that best friend who checks that the reception place got the deco and entrance song right before you enter, that your dress is in place for pictures and that everybody has a drink to toast when you serve the cake. just simply a best friend who takes thse little things off your shoulders. if not, you will not be able to relax.

What has been/was your favorite part of planning? Picking out all the little details that made my wedding my own like my card box that looked like my wedding cake and getting a guitarist to play at my wedding ceremony.

What has been/was the worst part of planning? My bridal party. They were a nightmare and gave me grief all the way until the day of! Complaining about things, telling me what they would and wouldn't do. Not going to do things until the last minute. And those darn RSVP's!

If you had all the money in the world, what would you have done differently? I would have definitely hired Harry Vitanis to do my photography. So many moments were not captured with the photographer we had chosen like the ring shots and all the moments leading up to the ceremony.

What is one piece of advice you have for other brides still lurking or recently engaged? Every bride wants to have the wedding of her dreams but what really matters regardless of budget is that you are marrying the love of your life. Always remember that during your wedding journey as that being the goal!
