Your FI/DH has ever done for you???
This may sound cheesy but my fi does sweet things everyday. I think the fact that he works all of th time so that I can concentrate on school is just incredible... gosh I love him to pieces!!!
Like Miriam FI does sweet things daily! he literally will go and do things for me everyday and waits to tell me all excited! I think I like the fact that he's excited to tell me more then what he did for me!
I agree with the girls...mine does sweet things on a day to day basis, I feel so very lucky to have him!
Mine to!! Today he just ran me and then helped me out the bath to help ease my pain. This weekend he dug parts of the garden as he knows I can't do it now and he doesn't even like gardening. H x
I agree with the others, FI does unbelievably sweet things for me every single day!
*sigh* I love him so...
But the one thing that always stands out in my memory is from the 2nd week we were dating. FI plays the guitar and when we first started hanging out, I asked him if he knew how to play 'Blackbird' by the Beatles--one of my favorite songs because my dad used to play it for me on his guitar when I was a little girl and we would sing it together. Well the next time I went out with FI, he busts out his guitar and plays 'Blackbird' for me! He learned it in one night, just to play it for me. I knew then that he was the man I would marry. Thinking about it still makes me feel all melty! I am going to walk down the aisle to that song to honor both my dad and my FI.
thats hard to pinpoint!
The first that comes to mind is when he teared up while reading something I'd written about my past....he is my biggest fan and advocate (I'm an aspiring writer) and with our totally different upbringings, he is always blown away by mine. His reaction to my work...and to my life- is a huge part of why I still write and believe in myself.
FI is originally from Lisbon, Portugal, and my fav soccer player was playing in Madrid at the time for Real Madrid, so he and his cousin bought a jersey, drove 5 hours in the middle of the night to make it to practice that next morning to have him sign it fore me. Unfortunately, he walked right by the fans that day and didn't sign anything :/ So he came home empty handed, but the story was enough for me!
Annd he tracked down my favorite Jessica Simpson lipgloss when the line first came out on HLN for me :) Now that's romantic!
Aw he does lots of sweet things!
The most sweet I think is he learned how to make my most fave dinner ever and made it for me for a romantic date at home...it was so sweet I almost started crying!
Have to say came with when I went to the emergency room and STOOD there all night pushing me back on the emergency room bed (I seperated my shoulder so bad they wouldn't pop it back in and had to weight it down. The weight kept making me slip off the bed. With a combination of strong pain killers - I couldn't fend for myself). I think he was on his feet for a good 5-6 hours and drove me home.
But he just bought me potbelly oatmeal-chocolate chip cookies the other day as a surprise as a most recent one :)
I will never forget FI surprising me on our first Valentines with having 6 red roses delivered to work. I had never received flowers before from a guy, so having them delivered to work made it extra special.
Most recently, he brought me DQ the other night!
DH is sweet all the time :)
Agreeing that I have a wonderful FI that does wonderful things for me everyday, but my favorite memory of all the sweet things he's done for me is actually something quite silly and simple.
When we first moved in together, he gave me a key to the apartment. I didn't drive so I didn't have other keys, (i.e no keychain). I used to leave my key on the dresser every morning and one morning I woke up to find that he's put this little mocassin keychain on my key. It was so sweet because it made me feel like he was saying that it was just temporary and that he wanted me there. Of course, he says he just did it because my key looked too bare, but I perfer my own version lol.
Well my FI got me Kendra Wilkinsons autograph. She was at the airport here in Lubbock. Her Hubby lived about 2 hours away from us and he was working there at the time. he saw her SUV, took off his undershirt and knocked on the window. he told her i was a huge GND fan and loved her show (which i do) and asked for her autograph and she gave it him. He said she was really nice. I was so happy bc my little guy was only 4 months at the time and had the rotovirus so i smelled like poop and had been thrown up on for 3 days straight so that brightened my day. He has done other things but that one sticks out. Also when i had an allergic reaction to something i ate he rushed home from work and took me to the ER. Fi does alot of great things for me. He also gave me some roses when we first started dating bc he had lost his job and i was there with encouraging words the whole time.
People always comment what a gentleman Fi is...
He opens doors for me and pulls out my chair all the time...
He does the same for my friends...
He doesn't let me walk on the street side when we're on the sidewalk...I must always walk on the inside...
He cooks for me even when he's been at work all day and I've been home on a day off...
Of course there's been the big gestures but sometimes it's just the little things...
He wrote me a 4 page letter about why he loves me... and he surprises me with little things.
Every morning he wakes me up with kisses and helps me get out of bed, which is no small task.
Raising my son that is not his biological son as his own.
probably buying me a bag of gummy bears every time he goes grocery shopping on his own.
Like everyone else, my DH does all kinds of sweet things!
Most recently he surprised my by buying me a little black dress... then whisked me off to a dance studio for lessons...and he HATES dancing!!
Just like the rest of you my FI is super sweet all of the time but this one time he was beyond sweet. TMI warning: We went to Paris last year and returned with Swine Flu. He recovered within 2 days and I ended up in the ER. The first night I was so violently ill in both directions pretty much every 30 min to an hour that I was exhausted by midnight. He found me on the floor of the hallway because I couldn't walk any further. He carried me in and placed me on the toilet and then pulled all the blankets and pillows into the hall so I could be close to the bathroom and stayed there on the wood floor with me all night until he had to go to work in the morning. Mind you we are NOT a go the bathroom in front of each other type couple. we don't even leave the door open. ever. And I'm not exactly an itty bitty thing so...a pretty darn good guy...
(and he watches SYTYCD with me!)
