Possible Venue

I got information on a gorgeous venue, Armstrong Farms in Saxonburg, Pa. It includes lodging in two houses for 12-14 people, only a couple hundred feet from the reception and ceremony site. You get the houses, and the venue from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon, it includes tables and chairs for both the ceremony and reception, and help setting up. They give you a small bone fire after the reception.

I absolutely love the venue. I contacted them and they said the cost is $7000. Does anyone know if this is a good price?

Can't really tell about the price since here in Qc, you usally have a quote for renting the space + the catering at the same time, but it surely looks like a beautiful place!

Does that cost include your catering (food/drinks)? It's a beautiful venue.

I was going to ask the same thing as kittyglampants. Is the food and drinks including? Are there servers, linen, dishes? It is a beautiful spot!

Hmmm. . .I guess because they provide lodging as well that the price is like that. Do you need lodging? What is your budget?

This place looks awesome!

Our venue is similar but it's in California and has lodging for 22 people. We paid $10k.

Keep in mind you will have to rent EVERYTHING which can add up finacially and requires working with more vendors... but you also have way more freedom regarding timing, activities, etc. and I the memories of being able to stay with those closest to you for a few days is priceless! Weddings go by way too fast.
