Does anyone happen to know the dimensions of a standard USPS postcard stamp?
Doesn't it despend on which one choose? Mine was a rectagle about an inch wide, but I needed 2 for my invites...
This is for a postcard STD
best to take it into the post office and have them measure and tell you....
Not sure if I want to take it that far LOL I'm trying to design a postcard for our STD and thought it would be cute to outline where the stamp goes (looks weird cuz it's a screenshot while in design mode):
weird...i posted something right after that...i "misread" what you were asking....duh.... :) cute card!
thanks! I'm making them on www.printsmadeeasy.com I found a link to it on one of Martha Stewart's forum-comment-thingys. I'm ordering 500 postcards with print on both sides and gloss finish on the front for less than $60 woooooo-hooooooo!
I was gonna DIY with damask carkstock, but I think in the long run this is easier and cheaper.
I just measured some that I have here in the office. Keep in mind...stamps may vary depending on the style.
I have the "passion fruit" postcard stamps and the measure: 7/8" wide and 1" high. That is to the very outside of the squigley edge.
Thanks nicsnack! I think the fruity ones are what I'll have to use too - they don't have many options for postcard stamps :( I would design my own but tryin' to keep it cheap!
