Practice?

Last night FI and I were goofing around while going through music for the reception.  We were dancing a little and at the end of the song he (of course) dipped me.  The problem is, he sorta flung me back.  As it was funny then, I don't think it would be all that great in a wedding gown LOL!  We practiced the dip a few times and we both feel much better that he won't be throwing my back out at the wedding...hahaha!

Have/did you and your FI practice or rehearse something like this?...(aside from 'the' kiss...that was another thread).  Just curious.

we "practice" all the time, usually it goes like this: starts out all nice and sweet, then FI starts feeling me up, then it ends up in FI freaking out because I dip myself whenever I feel like it (I have a good center of gravity) and he feels out of control and tells me that HE is supposed to be the one leading, then I jump into his arms and say something bratty like "I'll lead whenever I feel like it!" and then we go do something else.  So basically, we are never going to have a nice dance.

Jackie...its all in the tailoring girl.  Be sure the dress holds the 'girls' just right and there shouldn't be any unexpected flashing!

Jharkins...your dancing sounds very similar to ours!  I'm constantly reminding FI that we're "suppose to be dancing."  Last night he was funny acting as if we were actually at the wedding and making comments about our "guests"...I was in tears I was laughing so hard!

One word: Cups

Have your seamstress sew in cups.  My MOH is adding a pair to her dress.  She cracks me up because she keeps referring to them as her "dress implants"...LOL

We can't pratice anything without turning it into a joke- I don't know how we will be serious and make it through the real day????

that is the thing! You don't need to be serious for the day!! If you guys are joksters, then that is who you are! I don't think you need to be someone different for the wedding (well expect that our guys should try and refrain from handling certain areas on us and themselves ;-)
