Pregnancy and grad school

So I am planning on going back to school to get my MSW next September. We want to have children as soon as possible but I am on Depo and had my last shot a month ago meaning it could take anywhere from about 6 months to over a year to get pregnant.

I want to plan it so I have a baby in the summer, but that obviously only gives me a very short window of time to get pregnant, and I won't have that luxury since I have no idea how my body will react to being off of Depo.

My question to you ladies is, would you rather be pregnant throughout most of your first year of grad school (I plan to go part time and work part time) and have a baby during the summer, or start trying as soon as my cycles regulate and take the chance to have a child during the school year?

ditto what Murph said.  and I am sure your teachers will work with you to make sure you can still do what you need to do while pregnant

I'm actually doing my Ph.D. and we're TTC. I think having a baby while being in grad school is kind of having a baby when you're working (ok, not exactly the same but still...). It's not like being in college. We're all grown up and most teachers understand this reality. So I would definitly say go for it!
