Photos and video are the only things that last past your wedding day. Flowers fade. Invitations are thrown away or forgotten. Your photos and videos will be treasured forever.

1) Venue
2) Photos and video
3) everything else

oooh, i like johnandjanet's reasoning. That would make sense to me. Although it would be cool to have some form of entertainment like acrobats. That would probably leave an impression on the guests.

Acrobats! That would be cool. I haven't seen acrobats at a wedding before.

For the guests, the most important thing is GOOD FOOD.

The main things are venue, attire, and photos. All the other stuff is fun but not completely necessary if you are on a budget. The important thing is that you are marrying the man (or woman) you love. =)

From the guest perspective, usually the first thing of a wedding I tell people about is the food. Examples:

1) "Oh, there was this awesome cheese and cracker stand"
2) "There was some really awesome steak! It was overcooked though. It was medium rare."
3) "It was a 10 course feast!"

If there are acrobats, that would definitely be newsworthy.
