Progensa 20?????

I have friend who is preg who saw natural doctor and was placed on Progensa 20 to help the egg to attach when she does ovulate. She did going to give me her Rx since she doesn't need it. Any of you ladies ever try this??

Oooohhh, I've never heard of this.  I think though if Clomid doesn't work for me I will be going this route before I try anything else with my RE.  How long do you need to take it?

Generally speaking I would not take another person's prescription....If you want to try this, talk to your own doctor about it.

I agree with what Jackie said...There are certain "natural medications"  that can also give you different effects if you combine them with meds your RE gives you. Make sure to talk to your doctor about anything you might want to take.

Yes I agree with Jackie too. I havent taken it because of that. Its just a cream that helps the egg to attach, but I still am a little weird about taking it.

I'm not taking progensa, but I was given prometrium to help boost my progesterone levels to ensure that I'll be able to carry my baby safely. My progesterone level wasn't low, but my RE would like to see it higher.

I wouldn't however, take your friends Rx. I always tell my patients to not share Rx's....even if they are on the same medication. It's just not safe. Like the other ladies have said, consult your doctor if you are interested in taking Progensa.
