Purple Uplights

Anyone doing (or has done) purple uplights for their wedding. I love purple but am a little scared that it will give off a nightclub vibe instead of elegant wedding vibe if I use purple gels. I really like the amber uplights but I'm not sure if I would have to add that on to my color scheme.

I want to but haven't looked into it yet. I think it can look elegant if you don't have too many of them

I will be having purple uplights, which for my venue will be 20-30 lights to totall transform the room.

I am having purple uplighting at my wedding, I think it will look really good when combined with candlelight and twinkle lights.

Yep, we used purple uplights. If you use LED's then you can vary the intensity and adjust so you don't have that "club" atmosphere.

To stay away from that club feel go with lights every 15-20 feet. It gives that touch of purple without being too much. Looks great for the photos.
