I would like to share something that I created. I am using a 24" tall cylinder vase, approx 20" stem blossoms and submersible led lights that you put under crystals at the bottom of the vase. The lighting is amazing and they are tall enough that you can see the guest sitting across from you!

I love the idea of floating candles, however I would really like to incorporate flowers like by maybey using rose petals sprinkled over the table cloth. Does anyone think that would look good together>>??

GREAT article.  This one is my fav!

GREAT article This one photo 2103993-1

FI and I (mostly me cuz he makes me nervous to paint) are painting 12 different vases with fall leaves, etc and adding river rocks, sand, acorns, etc with a candle in each one.

I love the flowers in water with the floating candles. I am trying to make some simple centerpeices like these for my wedding. I found some great glass vases and bowls at Ikea and they were very cheap. The square ones I got at Ikea are very similar to the 2nd photo with the rocks, flowers, and floating candle.

I am definitely doing the submerged flowers with candles. I hear its budget friendly which is perfect but its also classic and romantic. I think it would look great for an evening wedding with perfect lighting. This is a must for me :)

This is what I'm doing.  Pink Stargazers in a vase, the vase  bought at the dollar store (2 dollars each). Fill the bottom of the vase one quarter full with black pebbles and surround with candles. Ikea has great tealight holders for cheap. That's it!

the rocks and flowers in a vase with a floating candle is my favorite! it looks beautiful and you can dress them up easily by adding a ribbon the color(s) of your wedding. nicely done!
