I'm looking into this, but having a hard time for containers...any good links for apothecary jars, or candy buffets with scoops?? Thanks.

wow! Really elegant theme & colors. Lots of different shapes of containers, I like the fact that they don't have to be apothecary shapes. I'm so glad, cuz those apothecary jars get kinda pricy for the whole set up!

Michelada - For my containers, I used some I had at home and the apothecary jars I got them from Michaels. They have cute ones and very thick. Don't buy them at ROSS. I got 3 there that came in a box and they were so thin that 2 of them scattered when I took them out of the box. As for the scoops, the best place to get them I think is http://www.scoops-scoops.com/ they have a big variety and good prices.

Here is my set up:

I agree with Karina_and_J that scoops scoops.com is the best place for them.

Thanks for the article. The candy buffet is one of the things I am most excited for at my wedding. TJ Maxx and Marshalls are honestly the best places to look for containers. The prices are great ($2-10) and I found a wide variety.

I'll be checking out Goodwill and Value Village or yard sales for glass containers etc. for our candy buffet! I know I can do this wedding on a budget and make it look fantastic! You don't always have to pay a lot of $ if you just have an eye and imagination.

I helped my friend do her wedding and we did the candy buffet and it was such a BIG hit and only used one large container and other candy around it but that was 4 years ago and now for mines I want to realy make it nice! Everyone also check your sunday papers and sign up for michaels newsletters and you will get their 40 to 50% coupon it can turn an $10 regular priced vase you have had your eye on for only $5.00 I have been hitting them up but I am goign to start going to to Goodwill and the Salvation army as well.
