I'm totally doing this for my wedding. I figure my bridesmaids are going to have enough they're spending, especially the ones who are getting married that same year, that they don't need to spend $100 on a dress they may never wear again. This is a dress that will fit everyone and still look great! I'm so excited! Any tips on the type of material that's best for this?

Exactly how much fabric would you need to do this?! And what type, cause if I can get/afford that much and type I'm doing this for all of my brides maids. :) Thanks.

 Blessings,

Caitlynn

I actually bought one when in Vegas this summer...I can't believe I let her talk me into it as I'm far too tall and heavy for this thing to work for me.  But luckily you've got this sewing tutorial to help you, you can make any size for your brides' maids, that is too awesome.  The dress really is amazing, if you're a normal sized person :)  I think mine is rayon, machine wash and dry. I'm not a seamstress so I won't even bother to throw out a guess as to yardage.

I have a dress like this! It's amazing. My bestie gave it to me for my birthday & I love it, it literally can work for every occasion - I'm still finding new ways to wear it too!
