A couple of my items coincide: I'm borrowing my mum's blue sapphire earring (borrow, blue, old). I'm wearing a blue garter I got with friends (my bride's maids) on an outting years ago (blue, old). My bouquet will be wrapped in an antique handkerchief (old). So excited!!

My parents saved the base for their unity candle. We are going to use it in our ceremony as a "something borrowed." We figured it is cost-effective and is special to them. This is a great article!

My something blue is either going to be my undies or toenails, my something old/borrowed is going to be a diamond pin that my mom inherited and I'll pin it inside my gown, and my something new is dress/shoes/bra/bouquet.  lol pretty much anything I'm wearing!

I'm planning to save my veil for any children we have to use in whatever way they want to.  :)

I love the ring that you used in the article!  Where can I find one?

On another note...I am encouraging my future husband to do the new/old/borrowed/blue!  My gift to him will be his new, the borrowed is his rented tux, the blue is his undies and we are working on the old right now!

I finally got my old and borrowed in one item. My step-grandmother has loaned me her horseshoe that she was given on her wedding day 53 years ago.

My old is my FMIL's mother's necklace. My blue is a small blue stone earring in my cartiledge. My new is the earrings I purchased. I just need something borrowed and I like the idea of a borrowed car to get to the ceremony and reception.

My dress is old and blue and new to me. Don't think I am doing borrowed.

My old is a vintage clutch and vintage earrings that one of my sisters bought for me. My new will be the garter I'll be buying days before the wedding! My borrowed will be the black pearl necklace my other sister wore for her wedding. My blue will be a sapphire ring given to me on my 22nd birthday!

Will anyone else be wearing a dime in their shoe? :]

New is the fabric in my dress & my shoes.

Both my Great Grandmother & my partners grandmother were seamstresses, like me, & I have their sewing boxes, so I have lace from mine & buttons from his on my bodice.

Our colour theme is red white & blue so I have quite a bit of blue.

Blue frills on my petticoat, ribbon on my garter, panties & Swarovski crystals in my fascinator.

Borrowed is a vintage silver & pearl necklace that is my Mum's.
