How are the flowers in this picture kept from floating up? I really like that there are no rocks at the bottom but then how are they kept down? Does anyone know?

I've always loved the look of submerged flowers, and I've always known (always meaning since I was 12) that I wanted submerged flowers and floating candles.

Absolutely beautiful!  I love the one kinda in the middle with limes and then I think those are green dahlias perhaps?  Totally lovely.

these are beautiful!  I knew I wanted to do candles but these take it to a whole new level.  I also want to do a wedding tree with lantern candles...so soft and romantic

I love seeing submerged centerpieces. They are great fillers for tall glass vases. It's also one of the top picks for wedding receptions. I think almost all of the weddings I attended last year made use of this but even if they are a cliche' in terms of centerpieces, a little change in color, candles, flowers etc. can make them something new and pleasing to the eye still.

My personal favorite are the callalilies submerged in water with candles. They are classic, easy to assemble yet fabulous.
