Either. It depends on what we were doing before hand. If the lights were already off then they stay off...if they were already on then they stay on :)

I feel more comfortable with the light off, otherwise I feel like I'm on a stage and their are people watching us, don't know why lol.

I hate our lighting, I'm sure it's no different than anyone else's but it feels glare-y.  So I prefer natural lighting, a light in the adjacent room, or off...but sometimes I get all naughty and leave 'em on!  It also helps that without his glasses he can't see much anyway!  :D

We don't really turn them on or off. It depends on what room we're in and if they're already on. Or if we're doing it during the afternoon/morning, then you already have light. Personally, I like to see what I'm doing to him and I love watching him do whatever he's doing to me.

I don't mind the lights on! but if its dark outside I'd rather the lights off only because I feel like the neighbors can see us (especially if the lamp is on, shadows are not cool)

hahaha, during the day there really is no need for the lights on! ;)

I have curtains in my room that block everything, so it doesnt matter.  We are usually active during light hours, so no need for the light.

Candlelight is amazing, but most of the time it's light's out (except for the times we get a little hot and bothered during the day...).

Ditto the others...it all depends on the time of day!! I like both for different reasons. Candlelight would be nice, but DH isn't into any of that romantic stuff :(

Warning ******Long Read*********

We do both as well but we always have some sort of light.

I have to share a moment that is pretty significant that I may otherwise have chosen to take to the grave with me but this thread topic is the perfect opportunity!

I have major body image issues~don't we all?~ Anyway, my last marriage~and please allow me to preface this with the fact that I mean no disrespect to my previous husband who is no longer living.  We were separated for quite some time prior to his death but he was still a man I loved very much and it broke my heart wide open when he passed.  He has been gone for 8 years now.  That being said I never had enough junk in the trunk or headlights suitable enough for the buyers' needs.  Unfortunately I was reminded of that regularly and it took it's toll after 9 years of marriage.  I have come a long way but realize sometimes that I still have a long way to go.

I have not shared too much of this with my FI because I don't want him to think I am fishing for sympathy or compliments.  Besides, I AM NOT THAT GIRL ANYMORE!  I am a WOMAN who is loved by the most amazing man God ever created...along with all of yours of course:) I promise my point is moments away :-).

Early on in our relationship I stressed how important it was for me to have complete darkness when we finally did make love.  He listened very intently and kept nodding his head the entire time I was talking and when I was all finished with my orchestra and the band packed up and went home, his reply was "I completely respect what you are saying but I will NEVER make love to you in darkness"!  "I have to be able to connect with your eyes and see your beautiful body and love you the way I need to love you, promise you will never shut me out your soul"...

....seriously???? I was waiting for someone to jump out and scream CUT while laughing their ass off for pulling off some childhood prank and winning a bet...but it was real and I just had to share that moment with someone because it's too precious to keep to myself!

Sorry for such a long winded post.
