Question about bra size

Will your bra size come back down to its pre-pregnancy size after birth and breast feeding? I have so many pretty pre-pregnancy bras that I love and I'm wondering if I'll ever get to wear them again.

Mine did but I gave up breast feeding after 5 days.

Also - I wore my same bras all through pregnancy.

Wow, lucky you! My boobs grew so much that none of my nice bras fit. I'm surviving on sports bras and my old, warped VS bras. I miss my Chantelles and La Perlas.

My boobs have only grown a little...not enought to need a bigger bra...and I'm having a girl! I'm wondering how I'm supposed to know what size nursing bra/tank to get for the hospital! 11 more weeks!! Eeeks!

Jackie I would wait until your milk comes in for the bras. My friend bought a bunch at Motherhood when she was pregnant and really liked them then her milk came in and she HATED them! I think you will be safe if you get the next size up of nursing tanks and use those for the hospital.

Mine are almost the same size, they just aren't quite as happy as they used to be :(

Mine went up 2 cup sizes  -and haven't gotten smaller 4 months after birth. I'm not breastfeeding -not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. I live in sports bras and the ones I wore toward the end of my pregnancy :(

i feel your pain, DMN.  so far i've gone from a 34 to a 38 on some days.  i've resorted to stealing my mom's old bras, and i bought myself one pretty new one.  but most days i dont't even want to bother with underwire!

My bust size definitely got bigger.  I used to be a 32DD but now I have to be a 34.  Not sure about the cup size bc I have gotten measured recently by I slip out of my DD cups. While DH is happy, we both hope is comes down a little bit.  Friends are saying my boobs need its own FB tags in picture : /

I know!  And I'm not a terribly big girl either!  I'm 5'1 and weighed 130lbs before the pregnancy.  So now I look very volumptuous, which can also be a bit obnoxious.

I went from a small B to a DD. And mine barely grew at all during pregnancy. I nursed for about two weeks short of two years and its been almost two months since we weaned and they haven't really gone down. I think once we were down to like twice a day they decreased a little, but I'm probably still a D. I really hate to see what is going to happen with this baby LOL. My advice would be to buy just nursing tanks and sleeping bras since they are less dependent on cup size and just wait until your milk is regulated to buy real nursing bras. I think I didn't buy any really nice nursing bras until my DD was close to 3 months - I was living in the tanks mostly since breastfeeding makes you hot (at least for the first couple of weeks) and I was nursing around the clock and the thought of a real bra just sort of made me want to gag :)
