Question for Odessa :)

When you were TTC, I remember you saying that you were taking something that helps your luteal phase to increase, what was it again? I notice that mine is no longer that 10 days so I was thinking of taking what you did… I remember you saying that it worked for you.
Thanks a lot!

Odessa hasnt been on too too much lately so I'm sure she wont mind me answering this for her.  She was taking Progesterone for her LP and I believe she took it for her first trimester as well.

hey, thanks S! Yeah I've been battling pregnancy carpal tunnel so not able to type as much on my bad days.

When I was first charting and realized I had a short LP I went on B6 vitamin. I wish I could remember the amounts. The first month it did extend my LP by a few days but I've heard most other women it takes a couple of cycles to make a difference. However, it did not save my first pregnancy. I have no idea if that was due to the LP defect or something else. But Shalliwell is right, after the miscarriage they put me on progesterone after O to make sure the LP was right. I got pregnant my first cycle on that so not sure how long it would have made my LP. I stayed on it until I was 13 weeks along.

I hope the B6 works for you! They also say it can help with morning sickness if you continue to take it during your first trimester and I never really had sickness so who knows, maybe it helped that too!

Thank you ladies for the information!! Thanks Sarah for being so kind trying to help, and thanks Laura for taking the time to answer me even not feeling so good... :) I appreciate your help!!

I thought it was B, but I wasn’t sure and just wanted to confirm.. I already take a Vitamin B complex because I am vegetarian and my doctor said I should take it. I will check how is the of B6 on it...

I had 2 cycles where I didn't ovulate at all, and the last one was a really short one, only 10 days of LP... I will take the b6 to see if it helps too...

Thanks a lot you both!! And feel better Laura!!
