why are you so awesomely cute?
I didn't know I was... but I have to admit that I am very excited that someone commented in this thread. :D
How are things in the Harrisburg Area?
Jes.. what made you choose to get married in Vegas?? :)
(by the way great choice!! )
Well I looked all over the world for a location.... I was really gung-ho on Key West (esp. since our American guests didn't need passports - FI's side barely has them). But really thinking about Key West, to get a cheap flight there you fly in to MIA then take a greyhound (or rent a car) and drive three hours south. Well, that is a LOT of traveling for one little wedding.
So... I went around the world again... even thought of having three weddings, which I wasn't about. But I stopped worrying about making everyone happy and focused on me. You can read more here... http://jesandshan.blogspot.com/2009/11/location-evolution.html
I came across an ad for the Lowe's Hotel on Lake Las Vegas... and I liked it, researched it, and running with it. Its seems all this excitement just start to grow, it was something that I haven't felt with any other location. You can read more here... http://jesandshan.blogspot.com/2009/12/what-to-do.html
Your to cute!
I was also playing with the idea of Key West....
Really!?! What turned you away?
Just that we go there every year for a vacation and I love it but man can it be pricey!
And nearly all of my family is on the West coast so it makes more sense for travel plans to meet in the middle (kinda..lol)
But it was our plan b if none of our family wanted to go to Vegas
Key West was my middle ground.. lol.. I had never been, but people tell me it is Carabean like... and WE HEART the Bahama's.
Too bad they now have to travel to Las Vegas! HAHAHA
haha... your to funny..
Yeah its definitely got that Island feel to it... its so laid back and relaxing...
All this talk about it is going to make me plan a trip there like ASAP!! lol
I wish I can spend all of 2010 on a island!
what is the best advise you got when you were getting married about your marriage and not the wedding itself?
