Rainy wedding day

Everything is going to be okay. You planned to have your wedding outdoors, you know, in beautiful ?nature.? Rain is a big part of nature. Embrace that, move on, and have fun. it?s your special day!? On the bright side if you have an umbrella, you are sure to take great photographs outside!

"Rain on your special day can be considered a stroke of luck for several reasons.? Rain symbolizes blessings, cleansing, unity, and a new day.? In some cultures it is also a symbol of fertility.? Due to these positive connotations, a rainy wedding day is very often considered good."

Ditto, rain on a wedding day can sure bring out the best in photos! (and engagement pictures too), but I am glad that it didn't rain on my wedding day.

Rain on my wedding day? Thanks, but no, thanks. In my neck of the woods, we have thunderstorms, not rain, and the wind can even carry away a tent, soaking the cake and tables, leaving everyone drenched. Not to talk of the mud and cold. Not romantic,at all.

I DO NOT want it to rain on my wedding day. This year in April we got ALOT of rain so I am hoping when we get married that doesn't happen. I don't want to have to move my ceremony inside. I even thought about moving it to the first week of May because it rains less lol. But no matter when it is there is always a chance it might rain.

I do want to do some of my engagement photos in the rain.
