random ?- when you gain weight, do your feet get bigger too?

I know, what a weird question!!! But ive gained like 30 pounds that im now trying to work off, and i was always a size 9 shoe. Out of nowhere, i need a 9.5, today i was at aldo and i needed 10s!!! WTF? Anyone else run into this or did the fat on my body have nowhere else to go? They look the same to me, i dont have fat feet or anything, just need a bigger size. Thanks for the insight! Hope im not crazy?

also, can leather shoes be dyed? just wondering.

Yes, yes, yes... And the reverse is true too. I lost some weight, and now none of my heels fit - they're all slipping off my heels. Thank goodness for the ones with ankle straps!

You bet...and when you get pregnant and have babies it's worse because your feet never shrink back down.

They probably don't lengthen..but they do gain weight, as far as "fatness".. so you'd wear a larger size due to more foot volume..

I've gained about 30 lbs as well and my feet are def bigger. I'm terrified about the whole childbirth/footgrowth thing because I'm already a size 12 for crying out loud. It's highly irritating.

Your feet also get bigger as you get older...not by a lot, but a half-size or a size.

Yes, and it works the other way around.  My feet have gone down a size with the 50lbs I've lost
