RAWRRR....WTH

OK I know that PW and Wedding Wire have merged, but I hope they get the "bugs" fixed soon.

The merge with Wedding Wire ultimately is a very good thing for both vendors and brides - but it is a huge undertaking to merge all of those 1000's of vendor listings and we hope everybody understands that it is going to take some time to work out the bugs.

Linzee - what vendor are you looking for?  The search function is definitely one that is being worked on, we realize that it's hard to find vendors now!  Maybe I can find that vendor for you.  Also, I've found that it works well to go directly to Google, type in the vendors name and Project Wedding: example. . .'Kristeen Labrot Events Project Wedding'.  99% of the time the vendor listing pops up on the top of the search :)

Regarding the 'not posting a review until you are married' issue. . .that is a Wedding Wire policy, and while it can be frustrating ultimately it makes sense.  By only allowing married brides to post reviews, they can post the most complete, honest account of their entire experience as a bride.

When I joined PW, I posted a review of our venue. . .before we were married!  Were it not for the fact that I now work for PW, I would have completely forgotten about it - wouldn't it be better for potential clients to read a review I had posted about my whole experience with the venue, after the wedding?

We also understand that sometimes you want to post a review for a vendor who does work pre-wedding. . .my suggestion would be for you to create a Word document and type all of your reviews there as they come up.  After your wedding, spend 20 minutes and copy/paste everything to our directory. . .

HTH!  Anytime you have a comment or complaint, please contact us here before posting in the forum - we are here to help!

@ mountain bride- I don't recall the name of the vendor. I went back to save it, and it was gone. =(

I will do a search in google. Thanks!
